Birth:  1971, Ekaterinburg, Russia.

Education:  The Institute of Education, University of London (MPhil, 1997-2001), State Ural Pedagogical University (MA, 1991-1994; BA, 1989-1991).

Degrees awarded:  MA, BA.

Jobs:  Part-time lecturer at the School of Economics, Hosei University (2011 -); Hitotsubashi University (2010 -);  Graduate School of Area and Culture Studies, Tokyo University of Foreign Studies,  Faculty of Foreign Studies, Tokyo University of Foreign Studies, Faculty of Humanities, Keisen University; and Faculty of Letters at Chuo University (2009-); Department Manager (German, Dutch & eastern European languages, 2004-2009) at Grant & Cutler Foreign Languages Booksellers Ltd (2004-;  Russian Department Manager, 2000-2004).  Language Instructor at State Ural University of Technology (1995-1996).  Language Teacher at Uralmash School of English.  Assistant Librarian at State Ural Pedagogical University (1993-1994).
