Birth:  1971, Ekaterinburg, Russia.

Education:  Reading University (MPhil, 1999-2000), The Institute of Education, University of London (MPhil, 1997-1999), State Ural Pedagogical University (MA, 1991-1994; BA, 1989-1991).

Degrees awarded:  MA, BA.

Jobs:  Department Manager (German, Dutch & eastern European languages) at Grant & Cutler Foreign Languages Booksellers Ltd (2004-;  Russian Department Manager 2000-2004).  Language Instructor at State Ural University of Technology (1995-1996).  Language Teacher at Uralmash School of English.  Assistant Librarian at State Ural Pedagogical University (1993-1994).

Main Research fields:  Methods of teaching foreign languages (English, German, and Russian).
